GeoLocs was developed by mkodo, the award-winning B2B supplier of mobile and front-end technology for iGaming operators across sportsbooks, casino, lottery and bingo. Over the past 10 years, the geolocation service has been available exclusively to mkodo’s iGaming app clients, including British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), Ontario Lottery Group (OLG) and Rank Group. However, in January 2023, mkodo has released the geolocation service as, GeoLocs, as a very simple SDK integration, to operators and platform providers across the world.

Compliant with some of the strictest regulations across Canada, GeoLocs, is trusted by leading iGaming operators helping them to quickly and seamlessly ensure their apps and websites are in line with regulations by verifying player location.

Through mkodo, GeoLocs is certified and licensed in Ontario and British Colombia in Canada, two markets where geolocation is crucial for licensed operators to ensure their players are located within the regulated provinces.
